Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, assist with merchandising, and support store operations. You will greet guests, handle cashier tasks, demonstrate products, and help customers choose cosmetics, skincare, and haircare that fit their needs.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting. A high school diploma is preferred and about one year of related experience is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests to determine their needs and provide personalized service.
• Perform cashier tasks and assist with online orders.
• Maintain fixtures stocked and the store clean and organized.
• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events.
• Stay informed about products and ingredients to better serve guests.
