Job summary

Ulta Beauty in United States (New Jersey) seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, assist with transactions, and maintain clean, stocked fixtures. You will perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales while engaging guests about promotions and services.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, booking appointments, and staying informed on product benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional guest experience by greeting and engaging guests and understanding their needs.
• Perform cashier tasks and handle transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep fixtures stocked with merchandise and maintain overall store cleanliness.
• Support leadership on performance, people, and process initiatives.
• Assist with makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events.
• Stay informed about new products and communicate benefits to guests.
