Job summary

The Beauty Advisor (BA) at Ulta Beauty delivers an exceptional guest experience by greeting customers, identifying needs, recommending products and services, performing makeup applications, skincare analyses, and driving sales on the sales floor.

You will support leadership, stock and merchandise, keep fixtures clean, participate in events and trainings, follow store policies, maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment, and work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• High school diploma is preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional guest experience by greeting customers and identifying their needs
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to drive sales
• Assist with cashier tasks and process online orders
• Maintain store cleanliness, replenish fixtures, and ensure testers are available
• Book appointments for services and in-store events
• Stay informed about products and promotions to better serve guests
• Adhere to dress code and store policies
