Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an interim full-time Beauty Rituals counter lead to deliver personalized beauty experiences and drive sales. This role is planned to continue through May 2027.

You will perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, set and hit sales goals using in-store and digital tools, host vendor events, and maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment for every customer. Qualifications

• Passion for customer service, beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to build customer relationships, address concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift, use hands frequently, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products suited to customers' beauty goals.
• Set and achieve sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
• Schedule and execute vendor events and promotions, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Build customer loyalty, process sales and returns, and keep the department organized and customer-ready.
• Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment.
