Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest service, perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations that drive in-store sales. You will greet guests, answer questions, and guide purchases while maintaining store standards and assisting with events.

The role requires a friendly, team-oriented attitude, basic tech proficiency with POS systems, and a passion for beauty. Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships; ability to troubleshoot; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest, inform about promotions, and recommend products and/or services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges, and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance; adhere to dress code.
