Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences on the sales floor, perform makeup applications, and assist with in-store events. You will greet guests, assess needs, explain products, and support sales goals through knowledgeable service.

The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, a commitment to ongoing training, and the ability to maintain store standards and replenish merchandise.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service, answer questions about products and services, inform guests about promotions and sales, and recommend products/services.
• Process customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments and support services/in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience and meet sales goals.
• Stay informed about new/existing products and services and communicate their benefits to guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
