Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences across store floors, assist with product questions, makeup applications, and demonstrations while driving sales. This role requires strong customer service, knowledge of products, and the ability to work with the leadership team on events and promotions.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and comfort with POS systems and mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to enhance the guest experience.
