Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor (BA) to provide an exceptional guest experience by engaging each guest to determine needs, performing makeup applications and skincare analyses, and assisting with cashier tasks and stock maintenance.

The BA will support leadership through a focus on performance, guest service, and store compliance, with a passion for beauty and learning product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by engaging them, explaining products and promotions, and suggesting complementary Ulta Beauty products.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain store cleanliness, replenish testers, and assist with merchandise resets and inventory procedures.
