Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Beauty Advisor to provide an exceptional guest experience, drive sales, and maintain a pristine store environment in Chicago, IL. You will engage guests, perform makeup applications, and support in-store events.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong product knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with customers. Flexible scheduling includes eves and weekends to support store needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni‑channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, and informing guests about promotions.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in‑store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
