Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to provide an exceptional guest experience, conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations. You will engage guests, answer questions, and promote promotions while maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role emphasizes assisting with appointments and events, collaborating with management, and continuing training on brand and category education to boost sales performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
• Passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficiency with basic technology (POS, Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals in retail and service sales and guest loyalty.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest and recommending products.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and online order assistance.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver a superior guest experience.
• Stay informed on new products and services to advise guests effectively.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance and store cleanliness.
