Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will assist guests, perform makeup applications, analyze skincare, and demonstrate products to drive sales in a dynamic store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions, planning appointments for services and events, and staying informed about product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, and informing guests about promotions and products.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits.
