Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through a genuine passion for beauty. You will consult with clients to identify their needs, recommend products, and uphold Sephora at Kohl's visual standards while maintaining expert brand knowledge.

Build client loyalty, demonstrate products and trends, and participate in required training to expand expertise. You will support inventory, merchandising, and omni-channel processes, ensuring a superior client experience across touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty and trend awareness.
• Strong client-facing retail experience or service background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and beauty trends to clients.
• Inspire clients through product demonstrations and applications to drive sales.
• Complete required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute Sephora at Kohl’s visual merchandising and operational standards including sets, testers, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Assist inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, counts and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to supervisor.
• Act with integrity and foster teamwork in an inclusive culture.
• Exercise good judgment and seek partners as needed.
• Support safety and shrink programs; follow company guidelines.
• Accomplish multiple tasks within set timeframes.
• Follow company policies and safety policies.
• Receive, understand and respond to direction from leaders and personnel.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
