Job summary

Kohl's (Sephora at Kohl's) is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through consultative beauty services and expert knowledge of top brands. You will engage clients, identify needs, and deliver an excellent shopping experience with merchandise sets and visual standards.

Focus is on client loyalty, product demonstrations, and staying current with beauty trends. Must have flexible afternoon, night, and weekend availability and complete ongoing training in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Customer-facing retail or service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence clearly.
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying their needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate credibility to the client through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients through demonstrating products and application to drive sales.
• Actively engage and complete required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute and maintain Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, and price changes.
• Support visual elements and communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to the supervisor.
