Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to provide an exceptional guest experience, perform cashier tasks, and keep fixtures stocked while maintaining store cleanliness.

The BA will drive sales through makeup applications, product demonstrations, and in-store events, and will stay informed about products and promotions.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong guest service, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests, identify needs, and explain products and services.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Process sales, exchanges, and online orders as needed.
• Book appointments and assist with in-store events to enhance guest experience.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and ingredients to better assist guests.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and backroom areas.
