Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional shopping experience, assist with product demonstrations, and support store operations. You will engage guests, provide personalized service, and help maintain clean, well-stocked fixtures while contributing to sales and events.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong guest service skills, and the ability to learn product knowledge. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system and Apple devices).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing products and services during work time and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
