Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences on the sales floor. You will greet guests, assess needs, perform makeup applications, and demonstrate products to boost sales while supporting in-store events and promotions.

The role requires a passion for beauty, the ability to learn product details, and strong teamwork to maintain a welcoming, well-stocked environment. Flexibility for a dynamic schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Greet and engage each guest entering the store, personalize service to their needs, answer questions about products and services, inform guests about promotions and sales, and recommend complementary Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
