Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience on the sales floor, perform makeup applications, and support in-store events. You will greet guests, assess their needs, demonstrate products, and guide purchases to meet sales goals.

The role requires a passion for the beauty industry, flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales and loyalty.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting, engaging guests, answering questions, and recommending products.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive guest experience and sales.
