Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will greet guests, assess needs, perform makeup applications, and upsell products while keeping fixtures stocked and the store clean.

This role focuses on service excellence, product knowledge, and teamwork. A high school diploma is preferred with about 1 year of relevant experience; schedules include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
