Job summary
Timken is seeking a candidate to support Engineering Automation of Bearing System Analysis in Canton, Ohio. This position entails software development and providing assistance to engineers. Key responsibilities include the design of development phases and evaluation of analytical software. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of programming. Candidates must be eligible for U.S. export license authorizations and possess a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts including statics, fatigue, powerflow, torque.
Preferred Experience in Application Engineering and Engineering Software Development.
Responsibilities
Design and coordinate phases of development activities related to Bearing System Analysis.
Evaluate new and existing analytical software programs.
Provide technical support on the development and use of these programs.
