Job summary

Timken is seeking a Controls & Machine Design Engineer in Canton, Ohio, who will provide technical expertise to support the design and implementation of bearing manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with over 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing controls and automation engineering. Responsibilities include designing machine electrical systems and enabling Industry 4.0 solutions. Benefits include a competitive salary and opportunities for travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing controls or machine electrical design.
• Experience with machine electrical systems and automation engineering.
• Familiar with UL/NEC/CE machine electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and train on process equipment.
• Design and rebuild machine electrical systems.
• Enable machine connectivity and drive Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Ensure compliance with plant standards and electrical codes.
• Manage project schedules and support continuous improvement.
