Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems in mixed-technology environments.
• Experience documenting engineering changes and SOPs.
• Experience developing operator interfaces for engineering or scientific systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 on-call support for protection systems during beam operations.
• Troubleshoot and validate protection interlocks with motion control and instrumentation.
• Develop motion control systems and experimental instrumentation in collaboration with scientists.
• Create and maintain HMIs, GUIs, and dashboards for protection systems and diagnostics.
• Produce system documentation including interlock logic, I/O lists, and test procedures.
