Job summary

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Fabrication Helper / Beam Saw Operator for a steel fabrication opportunity in Claremore, Oklahoma. This role requires operating a beam saw, reading measurements, and supporting welders and fabricators to meet production specs.

The position is on a first shift, Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, at a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and safety awareness for a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure.
• Manufacturing/steel fabrication or saw operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial beam saw to cut structural steel beams to spec.
• Read tape measurements and verify cuts meet dimensions.
• Prepare, position, and stage materials for cutting and fabrication.
• Load and unload materials to maintain workflow.
• Assist Fabricators and Welders with prep and handling.
