Pelican Grand Beach Resort, a Noble House Resort, on Fort Lauderdale Beach, seeks a Room Service Server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages to guest rooms with warmth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to facilitate the communication process.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Responsibilities

• Take orders for and serve room service requests using suggestive selling.
• Set up and deliver all amenities in a timely manner.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms and pool deck.
• Answer phones with proper verbiage and upsell when warranted.
• Maintain sanitation standards per health code regulations.
• Assist Restaurant Service staff as needed.
• Explain menu items and execute financial transactions.
