Beachside Resort in Gulf Shores, AL is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to run all aspects of resort operations, from front desk and housekeeping to guest services, revenue performance, and team culture. Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of hotel or resort operations experience, including supervisory or management responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of front desk operations, housekeeping, and hotel service standards.
• Track record managing budgets, controlling costs, and improving operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with lean staffing models.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as the resort schedule demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day resort operations across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.
• Ensure brand standards, cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance across the property.
• Deliver a consistent, memorable guest experience and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Champion a strong guest satisfaction culture that turns first-time visitors into repeat guests.
• Own full property-level P&L accountability, budgeting, and cost control.
• Manage payroll, labor efficiency, and operating expenses to maximize NOI.
• Partner with sales and revenue management to execute pricing and revenue strategies.
• Track and act on occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and local competitive set performance.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop a motivated, cross-functional hotel team.
• Build accountability, teamwork, and a service-first culture across every department.
• Lead by example with a hands-on, on-the-floor leadership style.
• Maintain the resort's appearance, upkeep, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage vendor relationships, inventory control, and protection of company assets.
• Prepare and submit accurate, on-time operational and financial reports.
