Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Food Runner to assist the wait staff and deliver orders from kitchen to tables, contributing to a superior guest dining experience.

Experience with high-volume service is helpful; ability to stand for long periods, lift light loads, and work evenings and weekends is required; the team offers a robust benefits package and opportunities in a luxury property.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Multitasking skills to ensure guests get their orders quickly.
• Organizational skills to locate patrons and tables.

• Ability to remain on their feet for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Uphold company policies and procedures, including schedules, dress code, and attendance.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Label/date perishable items and rotate stock.
• Provide prompt, professional service to guests.
• Open side work and set up station.
• Attend training sessions and meetings.
• Deliver professional food and beverage service.
• Serve wine/alcohol properly.
• Set up front line with wares and equipment.
• Keep station stocked and read order tickets.
• Track cooking times and ensure plate presentation.
• Garnish entrees and assist servers as needed.
• Perform side work as scheduled.
• Deliver orders hot and notify staff when ready.
