Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, A Hilton Resort & Spa, is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee dining services, manage staff, and maintain high standards of quality and guest experience at our beachfront resort in Carlsbad, CA.

Work with department heads to ensure profitability while delivering exceptional hospitality. The role requires leadership, budget awareness, and strong communication with guests and team members in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Two to three years of fine dining experience preferred.
• Two years banquet management experience preferred.
• Food/Beverage Worker Permit where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Previous supervisory/management skills and experience.
• Requires 8th grade math level.
• Requires high school reasoning level.
• Requires 12th grade language use level.
• No employee will pose a direct threat to health/safety.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate positive leadership to inspire employees to meet standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all Food & Beverage positions and inventory.
• Ensure consistency of product and service.
• Direct restaurant and lounge operations and secure money-handling procedures.
• Maximize department profitability and monitor the budget.
• Promote customer service and employee satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory and oversee banquet spaces and events.
• Assist in training, scheduling and coaching staff.
