Okaloosa County Parks seeks a public safety and enforcement associate in Fort Walton Beach to greet patrons, share information, and educate on safety and compliance with county rules and state laws.

Responsibilities include reviewing vendor agreements, documenting incidents, issuing notices, preparing court cases, and coordinating with Beach Safety and other departments. CPR/First-Aid certification is required or obtained within 3 months; a valid driver license is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years customer service in a problem-solving environment.
• Public safety, codes, ordinances and regulation enforcement experience preferred.
• CPR & First-Aid certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver license required; local knowledge of Okaloosa County preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets and assists park patrons, provides information and educates on safety and compliance.
• Investigates complaints and violations; prepares cases for judicial process as needed.
• Issues notices, citations, warnings, and orders; documents incidents and enforcements.
• Works with Beach Safety and other departments on tourism, operations and safety tasks.
• Responds to emergencies and may render first aid or coordinate crowd control.
