Job summary

Casa Ybel Resort in Sanibel, FL is seeking friendly staff to assist guests with towel and chair service at the pool and beach. SUMMARY Assists guests with their service needs at the pool and beach to include chair, towel, and umbrella service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist guests courteously and efficiently with towel service, sundry sales, beach furniture and bike rentals.
• Ensures that work station is clean at all the times.
• Keep chairs, beach and pool deck clean and clear of debris.
• Anticipate guest needs.
• Timely set up and breakdown beach chairs and umbrellas.
• Maintain rental equipment including furniture and bikes.
• Assist with the daily laundering of beach towels.
• Adhere to all the opening and closing duties.
• Generate a good atmosphere for guests and co-workers.
• Ensure all pool and beach furniture is neatly arranged and cleaned.
• Adhere to towel card standard operating procedures.
• Provide guests with towel and chair service.
• Assist guests with adherence to pool and beach safety.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
• The employee must maintain a valid driver's license.
• The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
