The Boca Raton is seeking a Beach Club Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and train Room & House Attendants, ensuring rooms, suites and public areas meet hotel standards. You will visually inspect rooms and coordinate daily operations to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

This on-site role requires English fluency, the ability to manage inventories, schedules, and payroll, and to work with Engineering on repairs. It offers a path for growth in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years housekeeping supervisory experience in hotel preferred.
  • 4 or more years hotel housekeeping experience.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect rooms and supervise attendants to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate with front desk and engineering for repairs and maintenance.
  • Monitor schedules, payroll, inventory and supplies.

Beach Club Housekeeping Supervisor

Full Time Cleaner Supervisor Boca Raton, FL, US

Salary Range: $20.50 To $21.00 Hourly

Summary

The ideal candidate trains and supervises Room & House Attendants to ensure all rooms/suites and public areas are cleaned and comply with hotel standards. Visually inspects rooms/suites.

Essential Functions

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

  • Inspect rooms, complete reports, verify status reports.
  • Report clean suites to hotel front desk and or load into automated property management systems.
  • Check rooms inventory, assign rooms to room/suite attendants.
  • Monitor payroll reports and work schedules.
  • Monitor lost and found program.
  • Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies.

Supportive Functions

  • Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.
  • Promote team member loyalty and empowerment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations the repair and maintenance program as related to guestrooms and public areas.

Internal Relationships

Reports to the Director of Housekeeping, Assistant Director of Housekeeping & Housekeeping Manager

External Relationships

Has regular contact with Guests and other Housekeeping Associates.

Qualifications

  • Read, write and speak English fluently. Knowledge of other languages, especially Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventories, scheduling and productivity.
  • High school math level required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to inspect multiple rooms per day.
  • Ability to clean rooms, when needed.
  • Physically able to move and / or operate large objects, such as: room attendant’s carts, suite furniture, large bags of linen, vacuum cleaners and boxes of inventory.
  • Ability to follow and enforce all hotel standards, including safety procedures/standards and able to recognize and act in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate computer.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years housekeeping supervisory experience in hotel preferred. 4 or more year’s hotel housekeeping experience.

Physical Requirements

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
