Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a BeachAttendant in Bal Harbour Village, FL. The role oversees the beach area, makes safety announcements, and maintains poolside equipment for guest use. Schedule: Fri–Mon, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with weekend availability and a $19 hourly wage.

Experience in hospitality, strong customer service and communication skills are required. The position includes benefits and opportunities to support residents and guests in a dynamic coastal setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Two or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Multiple language fluency is desirable.
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Oversees beach area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
Assists with setting up and breakdown for beachside activities as needed.
Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
Must be customer-service oriented.
Pick up debris from the beach and possess basic cleaning skills.
Checks sports equipment to make sure it is in order for guests to use.
Report broken sports equipment to the manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered.
Must have the ability to work as a team member.
Must be accessible to and approachable to residents/guests.
Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
