GreenLite is seeking an experienced BDR Manager to own and scale outbound and inbound prospecting, manage a team of BDRs, and evolve playbooks, tooling, and metrics. This is a leadership role in a fast-paced startup with a focus on pipeline and revenue growth, located in NYC in-person.
The role emphasizes building an effective outbound strategy, coaching, and collaboration with sales leadership to hit ambitious targets.
The U.S. construction permitting process is a black box. Over 500,000 forms and 20,000 processes, yet 95% of cities use the same building code. Every permitting delay costs businesses revenue, stalls expansion, and disrupts construction schedules.
Founded in 2022 by builders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, GreenLite eliminates permitting uncertainty for developers nationwide.
We combine AI-powered technology with an in-house team of registered architects, engineers, and city planners to deliver the fastest, most predictable path to permit approval. Our expert-led compliance process ensures plans are code-ready before submission, reducing revisions, delays, and costs.
GreenLite has raised $86M in venture funding from leading investors including Insight Partners, Energize Capital, Craft Ventures, LiveOak Ventures, Trust Ventures, and Chicago Ventures. National brands, including Walgreens, TD Bank, and Driven Brands, trust us to accelerate approvals, reduce risk, and unlock growth.
GreenLite is seeking an experienced BDR Manager to own and scale our outbound and inbound prospecting strategy, manage a team of BDRs, evolve the playbook, tooling, and metrics for BDR success, and work closely with sales leadership to achieve our pipeline and revenue goals. This is an opportunity to build on an established BDR function at a fast-paced startup and play a key role in evolving our sales culture and processes.
At GreenLite, we place value in our in-office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as an in-office workplace 4+ days per week to enable balance for our teammates while keeping GreenLite’s goals top of mind.
On any given day, you can expect to do the following key activities:
Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach a team of BDRs to create and qualify new business opportunities for the sales team and train future AEs.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly team objectives; hold the team accountable for hitting key performance metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, opportunities created).
Build and optimize outbound sales cadences—including sequences, scripts, email templates, and LinkedIn messaging.
Design the BDR playbook around territory, lead routing, and tooling to enhance team efficiency and reporting visibility.
Train the BDR team on effective outreach, qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDICC), and pipeline management.
Lead by example—join calls, review messaging, and coach team members via regular 1:1s and call reviews.
Report weekly and monthly on team performance, pipeline contribution, and conversion rates; provide insights to sales, marketing, and RevOps, and develop strategies to increase sales metrics.
Ensure data accuracy and CRM hygiene; collaborate with RevOps to streamline reporting processes.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and camaraderie within the team.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and drive targeted campaigns.
Develop onboarding, ramp-up, compensation plans, and career development plans for BDRs
