Job summary

Sixth Street seeks an experienced accounting professional to support fund accounting, corporate finance, financial reporting and investor relations for two BDCs. The role covers general ledger activity, reconciliations, and SEC filings.

Responsibilities include assisting monthly/quarterly/annual cycles, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining strong internal controls. CPA preferred; NY base salary reflects market norms with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, debt investments, fund administration, or private equity.
  • Familiarity with Advent Geneva and fund accounting practices.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Book investment activity in Advent Geneva and reconcile cash with the Administrator.
  • Assist oversight of accounting functions performed by the Administrator.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Assist with production/review of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.).
  • Gather info for financial statements and SOX audit requests.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and internal controls development.
  • Interface with external/internal auditors and service providers.
  • Identify and help resolve accounting and reporting issues.
