Job summary

Brown County Schools is seeking a Head Cross Country Coach for Brown County Middle School to lead the middle school cross country program with a focus on teamwork, athletic development, and positive character growth.

The coach will organize practices, teach running techniques, and promote academics alongside athletic participation while ensuring the safety of student-athletes and maintaining compliance with district policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross country running, training, and conditioning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with middle school students.
• Ability to meet district coaching requirements, including background checks and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise practices, meets, and team activities.
