Job summary

Paradromics, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to help build software for the Connexus BCI platform. You’ll work with scientists and engineers to translate brain data into actionable software for clinical studies.

You’ll develop data curation strategies, implement decoding algorithms, and evaluate software with neural data and BCI hardware in the loop, collaborating across engineering, neuroscience, and quality teams. Travel between Austin and Oakland is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience

Responsibilities

• Develop data curation strategies for user interaction and BCI data
• Realize BCI decoding algorithms as performant software
• Evaluate software with simulated and real neural data, as well as with our BCI hardware in the loop
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of new features and tools
• Work closely with our engineering, neuroscience, and quality teams to identify and capture needs and requirements
