Job summary

Avento Health in central Illinois seeks multiple full-time BCBAs to provide behavioral services and clinical support in residential and community settings. You will develop and monitor individualized behavior support plans, conduct assessments, analyze data, train staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification is required.
• Experience developing and writing behavior support plans.
• Experience with behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments.
• Experience providing staff consultation and training.
• Strong clinical documentation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between service locations as needed.
• Willingness to enroll in Illinois Medicaid/IMPACT provider enrollment if not already enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and oversee individualized behavior support plans.
• Conduct behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments.
• Analyze data and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Provide behavioral consultation to program and clinical teams.
• Train direct support professionals and other staff on behavioral strategies.
• Monitor implementation of behavior plans and retraining as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with guardians, families, providers, and team members.
• Support individuals with complex behavioral and developmental needs.
• Provide services in residential, community, and other client environments.
• Participate in treatment planning and clinical meetings.
• Maintain compliance with professional, regulatory, and payer requirements.
