Avento Health is seeking a qualified Behavior Analyst, BCBA, BCaBA, or Psychologist for a full-time role in Peoria, Illinois. The position focuses on developing behavior support plans, assessments, and collaboration with care teams in residential and community settings.

The role offers meaningful clinical work with flexible scheduling and no set minimum billable hours, plus support for Medicaid enrollment and potential sign-on/relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience writing behavior support plans.
• Experience with behavior assessments, intervention planning, documentation, and staff support.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community-based work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and oversee behavior support programs and related clinical documentation.
• Write and revise behavior support plans based on individual needs, assessments, and team input.
• Complete behavioral assessments, functional behavior analyses, risk assessments, and monthly notes.
• Provide behavioral consultation, training, and guidance consistent with applicable professional standards and payer requirements.
• Train and support direct care staff on behavior intervention strategies and individualized plans.
• Monitor implementation quality, documentation accuracy, and opportunities for retraining.
• Collaborate with internal teams, guardians, outside providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Respond to phone-based on-call needs as required.
• Provide services in homes, community settings, and other client environments as needed.
