Job summary

The May Institute in Raynham, MA is seeking a Behavior Specialist for Adult Services to drive clinical excellence in our residential and Day Habilitation programs for adults 22+ with autism. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field required.
  • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and currently enrolled in a master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related BCBA-track program.
  • Remarkable problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and compassion for adults with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as their families and support teams.
  • Strong foundational clinical skills with the ability to support functional behavior assessments, behavior support plans, and evidence-based interventions under supervision.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to drive team success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the implementation of ABA services, showcasing leadership.
  • Develop and monitor behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans for adults 22+ with autism.
  • Compile data and create graphs to assess treatment plan effectiveness and skill assessments.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to staff; partner with families and program teams.
