Job summary

Wellesley Public Schools in Wellesley, Massachusetts is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) long-term substitute to supervise ABA programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The BCBA will develop student-specific behavior plans and curricula to teach new skills, while monitoring progress and ensuring data-driven decision making.

The role requires BCBA certification, with a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress, create data sheets, graph data, and adjust programs based on data.
• Consult regularly with team members, including special educator, SSI, administrators, and parents.
• Provide clinical support to Intensive Learning Programs (ILPs).
• Supervise SSIs through observation and feedback in school and home settings.
• Co-observe students, attend team meetings, and assist in IEPs and progress reports.
• Conduct assessments including home assessments and Functional Behavioral Assessments to guide interventions.
• Conduct evaluations in social and behavioral areas as part of three-year re-evaluations.
