Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support adults with I/DD in residential programs across Methuen and Haverhill, MA. The role includes clinical oversight, assessments, and staff training in PBS plans within a 40-hour workweek.

The position offers full-time hours, with a salary range of $80,000–$82,000 annually, and benefits from day one, including health and retirement plans, generous time off, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Currently licensed as a BCBA or eligible for certification within six months of hire.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated skill in designing and implementing PBS assessments, guidelines and treatment plans.
• Ability to motivate direct support staff and leaders during time of change and growth.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct counseling and behavioral support, tailored to individual needs.
• Model and train staff to implement behavioral strategies and protocols effectively.
• Design and oversee behavioral plans, including PBS plans, restrictive interventions, and biopsychosocial approaches, supported by consistent data collection and reporting.
• Promote mental wellness through proactive engagement with staff and program managers.
• Manage and coordinate crisis support in collaboration with internal and external providers.
• Build and maintain positive, trust-based relationships with individuals and their families.
