Job summary

Achieve Beyond seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead assessments for children with ASD and collaborate with families to set meaningful goals and plans. The role includes developing behavior intervention plans, guiding caregivers, and ensuring quality through evaluation, data analysis, and regular supervision.

Based in New York City area, the position requires strong ethics, confidentiality, and teamwork in a multisite pediatric therapy service.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services or Psychology.
• BCBA and LBA required.
• Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases with feedback.
• Clinically review session notes regularly for assigned therapists.
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes.
• Ensure progress is generalized with active caregiver participation.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year and summarize data.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.
• Ensure programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness.
