Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Nassau County team, conducting assessments for children with ASD, designing behavior intervention plans, and supervising therapists. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and caregivers and requires HIPAA-compliant data handling.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field, BCBA and LBA credentials, and at least one year of ABA supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, or Psychology.
• BCBA and LBA credentials required.
• Minimum of one year ABA client/teacher field supervision.
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient/professional.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases, with feedback while ensuring program integrity.
• Review session notes regularly for assigned therapists and ensure data-driven program adjustments.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy through goals and training.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year and summarize progress for each client supervised.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
