Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Albany, NY is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for fee-for-service, hourly or full-time work. You will conduct assessments for children with ASD, design behavior intervention plans and supervise therapists.

The position requires a Master’s degree, BCBA/LBA, 1 year supervision, strong organization, travel to cases, and effective collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services or Psychology.
• BCBA and LBA required.
• Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher supervision.
• Self-motivated, a team player, and patient/professional.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists, with feedback while ensuring clinical integrity of programs.
• Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists.
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy through specific goals, training sessions, and communication.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year while summarizing data and progress for each client supervised.
• Regular communication with parents, therapists, and Achieve Beyond office is required.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Ensure programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness.
