Job summary

The Learn Academy Redwood City is seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our team. This role focuses on direct work with students diagnosed with ASD and related needs, developing data-driven behavior plans and collaborating with classroom staff to implement IEP goals.

As part of LEARN Behavioral, you will contribute to a collaborative care model across South Bay and Bay Area, supporting families and children with autism through comprehensive behavioral services.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in relevant field.
• BCBA certification and license required.
• State of California BCBA/BA licensing expectations.
• First Aid Certification.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—works with parents, children, and professionals.
• Maintain BACB and CA Board of Psychology requirements.
• Attend trainings per Directors.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physical stamina for extended duties.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly scheduled staff and IEP meetings.
• 75% direct interaction with staff and students; 25% other tasks.
• Coach and train classroom staff; track trainings.
• Supervise data collection; create data sheets; evaluate data.
• Complete functional behavioral assessments when necessary.
• Develop behavior plans and protocols.
• Deliver and assist in staff training of behavior plans and protocols.
• Develop behavior, social IEP goals; collaborate on VB goals.
• Report progress on goals with graphs to classroom teachers.
• Develop data sheets for behavior/ VB goals with teachers.
• Collect, graph and interpret behavior data.
• Assist in conducting assessments.
• Develop goals aligned with insurance regulations and submit reports.
• Update students data books with teachers.
• Complete staff performance reviews per Directors.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Submit incident reports and inform Directors as required.
