Job summary

Shining Steps ABA in Lenexa, Kansas, seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead, develop, and adjust individualized ABA treatment plans within a collaborative, patient-centered team.

You will supervise RBTs, conduct assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA), collaborate with families and school teams, ensure ethical and compliant documentation, and contribute to ongoing clinical meetings to drive meaningful outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and uphold professional standards.
• Passion for helping children and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and functional behavior assessments.
• Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), providing hands-on training and support.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and school teams to ensure holistic care.
• Ensure all programming and documentation meet ethical, clinical, and compliance standards.
• Monitor client progress and lead clinical team meetings.
