Job summary

Astra ABA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to oversee a diverse caseload across home, school, and community settings in North Carolina. The role emphasizes supervision of RBTs/BTs, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with families and schools.

Applicants should hold a BCBA in good standing, NC LBA, and have 2+ years working with Autism; CPR is required. Travel locally is expected, with strong mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
  • Active North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential.
  • Meets BACB supervision requirements.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff while supporting positive client outcomes.
  • Passion for improving lives of children and families through compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee behavioral assessments to identify client strengths and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans.
  • Provide supervision and training to RBTs, BTs, and other staff.
  • Collaborate with families with ongoing communication regarding progress.
  • Review clinical data to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with parents, schools, and providers for continuity of care.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and professional development.
  • Maintain knowledge of ABA research and BACB ethics.
  • Ensure services comply with insurance requirements and documentation.
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation and billing.
  • Travel locally to provide support across home, school, and community.
