Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health in Brownsville, Texas is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinic‑based ABA services and supervise treatment for pediatric patients with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include assessments, program development, data collection, caregiver trainings, and coordination within an interdisciplinary team; licensure and ongoing CEU requirements are mandated.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Board certification and in good standing as a BCBA.
• Must obtain and maintain current BCBA licensure in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based ABA services to EBH patients and families.
• Supervise implementation of treatment protocols.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and parent questionnaires.
• Develop and write individualized behavior acquisition programs for patients.
• Write behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction targets.
• Develop and write initial treatment plans and update plans per guidelines.
• Implement and supervise data collection systems.
• Provide behavioral support in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Evaluate and report patient progress toward goals and oversee discharge plans.
• Conduct monthly trainings for parents/caregivers; group trainings as needed.
• Attend department and interdisciplinary staff meetings.
• Maintain BCBA certification by continuing education in BACB categories.
• Obtain and maintain state licensure.
