Job summary

Applied ABC in Des Moines, IA seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for per diem, hourly pay with in person or hybrid options. The role focuses on designing and overseeing individualized ABA interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, in a multidisciplinary setting.

You will collect data, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and educators to ensure effective treatment across settings. A Master’s degree and BCBA licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of ABA and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Strong data collection skills to track behavioral progress.
• Familiarity with special education practices and integrating behavioral strategies.
• Ability to perform patient assessments with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and families.
• HIPAA compliance and medical records management familiarity.
• Compassionate and proactive approach to treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Implement ABA techniques to promote skill development and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
• Collect, analyze, and document data to monitor progress and adjust treatments.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals for consistency across settings.
• Provide training and supervision to behavioral therapists and support staff.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of records.
• Participate in intake, set goals, and conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress reports.
