Job summary

Aetna, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a senior utilization management professional focused on neurodevelopmental disorders. This full-time role reports to the Executive Behavioral Health Medical Director and supports ABA-related reviews for members across Aetna.

The responsibilities include leading ABA utilization reviews, guiding the clinical team, refining medical management policies, and ensuring compliant claim review. Louisiana licensure and BCBA-D are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of clinical experience in neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism.
• Active state license in Louisiana with ability to obtain additional licensure.
• BCBA-D credential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal utilization management reviewer for ABA-related cases.
• Provide guidance to the ABA prior authorization clinical team and medical directors.
• Review psychological and neuropsychological testing cases for UM.
• Attend clinical meetings and contribute to care management and UM initiatives.
• Assist in developing medical management programs addressing neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Suggest enhancements to review guidelines and clinical criteria.
