Job summary

CVS Health—Aetna Medicaid seeks a dedicated professional to serve as a principal utilization management reviewer for ABA cases, with leadership for the ABA prior authorization clinical team and medical directors.

You will review neurodevelopmental cases, participate in care and utilization meetings, and help refine policies for neurodevelopmental disorders. Requires Louisiana licensure, BCBA-D, and a doctoral degree in relevant psychology.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in neurodevelopmental psychology with focus on child/adolescent populations.
• Direct experience in autism-related treatments such as ABA, NDBI or EIBI.
• Active LA licensure and BCBA-D credential; ability to obtain other licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal utilization management reviewer for ABA-related cases.
• Provide daily guidance to the ABA prior authorization clinical team and medical directors.
• Lead reviews for psychological and neuropsychological testing.
• Attend clinical meetings with care and UM teams, offering ABA expertise.
• Contribute to medical management programs for neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Recommend enhancements to review guidelines and clinical criteria.
• Support Medicaid-wide initiatives benefiting members with neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Assist provider education on neurodiversity and related compliance.
