Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group in Texas is seeking a BCBA to join our pediatrics team with a clinic-based model and a low caseload of six clients, enabling focused, high-quality ABA therapy and strong family involvement.

You will conduct FBAs, develop treatment plans, supervise RBTs, mentor BATs, and collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, and nursing to support ASD and developmental needs. Flexible scheduling and competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
• Active Texas LBA license
• BCBA certification with BACB
• Two years BCBA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and behavioral evaluations
• Develop individualized ABA treatment plans and BIPs
• Provide supervision to RBTs and BTs
• Mentor BATs and BCaBAs
• Monitor progress with data-driven decisions and adjust plans
• Educate parents to support learning at home
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, and nursing for comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and BACB compliance

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB
• Two (2) years of BCBA experience preferred
• Strong clinical leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for providing family-centered, evidence-based ABA therapy

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavioral evaluations
• Develop individualized ABA treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs)
• Mentor Behavior Analysts in Training (BATs) and BCaBAs
• Monitor client progress through data-driven decision-making and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide parent and caregiver education to promote success across environments
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, and other disciplines to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with BACB and organizational standards
